NFL: National Football League’s History
The NFL National Football League is a professional that consists of 32 teams. The teams are divided into 2 Conferences, AFC (America Football Conference) and the NFC (National Football Conference). After the conclusion of the regular season, seven teams from each conference. They are four division winners and three wild cards teams. The teams play in a single-game elimination playoff. The winner of each of the conferences will advance to the Superbowl to determine the overall NFL champion.
Since the first Superbowl held by the Green Bay Packers (NFL) and the Kansas City Chief (AFL), the Superbowl has produced many champions. The Green Bay Packers hold the most combined NFL championships with thirteen, winning nine titles before the Super Bowl era and four Super Bowls afterward. Now through the modern era, The Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots won six each.
