Gorr God Butcher History
Gorr was living on a dying desert planet. The people on the planet are deeply religious. They were always praying to their gods, but they had forgotten about them. These gods, who were once revered, had seemingly abandoned their people, leading to a crisis of faith.
Despite the relentless decay of his world, Gorr remained the most devout believer. His unwavering faith was tested when he witnessed the deaths of his parents, his pregnant partner, and his children. His plea to the gods for answers was met with silence, and his people, blinded by their own faith, turned on him, branding him a blasphemer. Yet, Gorr’s spirit remained unbroken.
His journey through the unforgiving desert led him to two gods who had crashed on his planet. To his surprise, they were not the all-powerful beings he had been taught to worship. One of the gods offered him a weapon, the Necrosword, and with it, Gorr was reborn as the formidable God Butcher, a force to be reckoned with.
