This item is a First Day Cover celebrating  Locomotive: Gowan & Marx. This stamp shows that the Gowan & Marx was designed to pull heavy freight such as 100 for-wheel cars; about 40 times it weight. The FDC was issued by Postal Commemorative Society.

The FDC and the information card do not have any damage. They do show signs of handling and 30+ years of storage and light handling. There are a few small corner dings. The stamps are in mint condition. The cover and information card are in a protective sleeve.
